Barcelona have reportedly wrapped up a deal for Joao Cancelo, with the Portuguese defender bidding farewell to Manchester City.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Barca have been keen on the versatile 29-year-old for some time, with those in Catalunya claiming to have been prevented from pushing through a transfer in January. At that point, Cancelo linked up with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

The German champions opted against completing a permanent deal, meaning that Cancelo returned to the Etihad Stadium. He has been heavily linked with Barca and Arsenal throughout the summer, with reporting that a full agreement is finally in place.
